On February 13, 2023. the senior performance audit auditor Bojan Dragišić and financial audit auditor Snježana Savatić Banjac of the Supreme Audit Office of the Republic of Srpska Public sector were presented with PESA-P certificates for public sector auditors issued by the Development Initiative of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

Candidates have successfully completed all prescribed professional education requirements and obtained verification by INTOSAI as public sector auditors.

Auditor General Jovo Radukić congratulated the candidates during the presentation of the certificates and pointed out that this is the first time since the establishment of the Supreme Audit Office that its auditors have been recognized by INTOSAI, which gives an additional dimension to their work.

“I am very proud of our colleagues who were the first in Republika Srpska to obtain this certificate and now serve as an example for others to engage in this process in the future. The Supreme Audit Office has supported their professional education in accordance with its capacities and will continue to do so in the future because I believe that we still have people who are very competent to stand side by side with auditors from all over the world”, said the auditor general.

In the process of obtaining the certificate, the candidates had help from mentor Renata Čajić Kužet, head of the Sector for Methodology, Development and Quality Control, and Slađana Jagodić, senior performance auditor, as well as continuous support from the head of the Financial Audit Sector Ljijlana Forca and the head of the Performance Audit Sector Milovan Bojić.

Deputy Auditor General Božana Trninić joined in the congratulations and used the opportunity to thank the colleagues who mentored the candidates during their professional education, as well as heads of the financial and performance audit sectors who have one of the key roles in the development of audit staff.
