The representative of the Supreme Audit Office of the Republic of Srpska Public sector, Dr. Bojan Ćurić – senior auditor for financial audit, attended the seminar on “Digitalization of the provision of public services and administration in municipalities” and the sixth annual meeting of the EUROSAI TFMA working group for the audit of municipalities in Vilnius (Lithuania).
The seminar was attended by over 100 participants and experts from more than 27 countries (Estonia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Spain, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Srpska, Albania, Slovenia, Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Moldova, Ukraine, Hungary, Malta, Georgia, Greece, Azerbaijan, Austria, Finland, Croatia…).
Topics related to the digitalization of public services in municipalities were discussed from the perspective of the audit profession, and case studies on this topic were presented, to be followed by discussions.
During the VI Annual Meeting of the EUROSAI TFMA Working Group, the activities and results of the Working Group from 2022, as well as future plans and activities for 2023, were discussed.
Bearing in mind the importance of municipal audits, and with the aim of further development of audit methodology, exchange of best practices and experiences, international importance as well as contribution to the improvement of the municipal audit system, the Supreme Audit Office of the Republic of Srpska Public sector became a member of this working group in 2016.
