Jovo Radukić was born in 1966 in Banja Luka, where he finished elementary and secondary economics school.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka in 1992.
From 1994 to 2000, he was employed in controlling and collecting public revenues in the Republic Public Revenue Administration, that is, the Financial Police of Republika Srpska.
From 2001 to March 2006, he worked as the Audit Team Leader at the Supreme Office for the Republic of Srpska Public Sector Auditing.
From March 2006 to November 2017 he worked for the Ministry of Finance, as Assistant Minister for the fiscal system.
By the decision of the Republic of Srpska National Assembly from October 2017, he was appointed as Acting Auditor at the Supreme Office for the Republic of Srpska Public Sector Auditing and performed this function to April 2018.
By the decision of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska of March 2018, he was appointed as Deputy Chief Auditor at the Supreme Office for the Republic of Srpska Public Sector Auditing.
