On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, At the Forum “Property of Local Self-Government Units (LGUs) – Potential for Sustainable Local Development” organized by the United Nations Development Program in BiH (UNDP), the report of the Main Public Sector Audit Office of Republika Srpska “Real Estate Management in Local Government Units in Republika Srpska” was presented.
The forum was organized to contribute to the improvement of strategic management of assets and funds of local self-government and to ensure their effective use, rationalization of costs, and maximization of revenues.
In addition to the representativе of the Main Audit Office, Dr. Milovan Bojić, Head of the Performance Audit Sector, the Forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Administration and Local Self-Government of Republika Srpska, representatives of local governments from BiH and the region, civil society organizations and academia, donors and media.
The Main Audit Office of the Public Sector of the Republika Srpska, within its strategic commitments and by the principles of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, wants to further enhance cooperation with representatives of international organizations, and civil society organizations, academia, and relevant institutions.
