Representatives of the Supreme Audit Office of the Republic of Srpska public sector paid a study visit to Malta in the period from October 16 to 20, organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

During the study visit, the representatives of the Supreme Audit Office and the other three Supreme Audit Institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina had the opportunity to review the past experiences and good practices of their colleagues from the State Audit Institutions of Malta and Slovakia in carrying out audits of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and through dialogue and discussion, get answers to possible questions and unknowns.

The purpose of the study visit was to encourage the participants to think about the possible applicability of experiences and practices from Malta and Slovakia in terms of conducting audits related to the Sustainable Development Goals.

The three-member delegation of the Supreme Audit Office was led by Deputy Auditor General Božana Trninić.

The study visit was realized as part of the UNDP project “Management of Public Finances”.
